Description
The PA Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the department, including responding to third party requests and questions, billing administration, and all aspects of task management (assignment, load balancing, etc.).
Responsibilities
Assist the Manager with managing the team’s workflow to ensure SLAs are met
Coach and mentor administrators in their daily duties and overall development
Assist and support Quality Analysts in the development and execution of quality control programs
Provide Subject Matter Expertise as it relates to Carrier/Customer specific requirements
Cross train on various lines of business
Administer weekly meetings and conduct monthly 1x1 meetings with the team
Maintain standards and notify manager of issues and risks
Deliver quality audit results and confirm corrections are performed timely and accurately
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of life/health insurance, medical billing, and/or policy administration experience
3+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to think critically, solve problems, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
